A lovely rustic antique Indian shutter window with metal latch and colourful original paint detailing. It originally would have been used as a window to allow ventilation and natural light into indoor spaces, essential for maintaining air circulation and creating a comfortable environment. Now, it makes a beautiful piece of decorative wall art, and includes two fixtures on the back ready to be hung.
The backing board isn't original and has been added more recently, and there are some visible historic repairs that overall adds charm to the piece.
