A small Qing Dynasty wooden square stool made from elm and bamboo. It's a great example of Qing with the elegant straight lines.
This particular stool is beautiful, original lacquer and very sturdy. Its aged very well, history seeps out of it. Its missing a cross section on one of the stretchers but that doesn't effect its use at all.
Quite possibly used as a stool for a street vendor, in the modern day it will add elegance to any room!
