An antique French yellow glazed confit pot from the 19th century. Originally from the Provence region in the south of France, it is semi-glazed in a superb ochre yellow colour.
This Provencal pot is very solid, handmade by a craftsman potter over 100 years ago. It is distinguished by its magnificent yellow glaze, unique. Each piece is a work of art, highlighting the variations in thickness of the glaze, as well as the manufacturing drops that testify to its authenticity. The colour of the clay, revealed by some chips and losses of glaze, contributes to its rustic charm.
With its character and history it will give a touch of charm and authenticity to any rustic decor. It will also stand out wonderfully in a very modern decoration.
