A lovely French scratch built old rustic wooden meat safe with mesh frontage and sides and handle. Originally, it would have been used to store and keep food cool.
One of the feet has been affected by old woodworm (please refer to photograph), but wood hardener has been applied along with an all over treatment of woodworm killer just to be safe. The mesh is in overall good condition with no tears or holes.
