Vintage French handmade stoneware escargot pots. Cute handmade ceramic pots, originally used for baking escargot. A snail was baked in each pot covered with a lovely sauce of garlic, butter and parsley, served with bread of course!
As they are glazed on the inside as well as the outside, they are fine for holding liquid, so you could use them as little paint pots. They are also great for salt and pepper or little pots for sauce. You could also decorate your table using them as little flower vases. They also work well when serving olives, you can pop the stone in this little pot.
They are in very good vintage condition with no chips, and these particular pots are slightly larger than the typical pots. Sold individually.
